At least Broly would be better than bringing back a certain purple cat and Zarbon wannabe
I don't see how. Those two at least had personalities. Broly on the other hand had a negative IQ, and his mission was fuelled by stupidity.
Maybe so, but at least Broly was somewhat intimidating and not comic relief like Beers and Whis. Not to mention that Broly's movies didn't feature the heinous new animation that makes all the attacks look like bursts and add CGI that would make Mickey Mouse Clubhouse blush.

They both have their pros and cons, albeit more cons for all three of them.

Congratulations on promotion to mod BTW
Thanks man.

And I wouldn't use animation style to say why Beerus/Whis < Broly. If Broly was going to get a new film, it would only be logical for Toei to use similar animation style to what they used in BOG, no? So I don't see a difference there. Not to mention, Beerus was used for comic relief, but he also showed some badass moments like when he destroyed the Z fighters with chopsticks. I think he was just a good "villain" all around.
Beers's thing with the chop sticks felt less badass, more silly. Not to mention that this is counter acted by him acting like a spoiled brat, having not a shred of dignity, not feeling dangerous at all, and being knocked on his a*** by Vegeta of all people

Oh well, opinions

Knocked on his a*** by Vegeta? I wouldn't really say that was the case. How much did Vegeta actually do to Beerus? A solid nothing. That was only meant to showcase Vegeta > Goku, not to show Beerus as a weak/pathetic villain.

Birsu is pretty much Broly with common sense honestly.
"SUPER SAIYAN GOD!"
"WHERE IS THE DAMN SUPER SAIYAN GOD"
"JUST SUMMON THE SUPER SAIYAN GOD!"
"KAKAROT!"
"KAKAROTTT!"
"KAAAAKAROT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".

Nice to mention IMHO Birsu is to much like Boo(Original Fat).

Both of them:
Nice Personalities. Both are great people to hang with(Boo even cured someone who was blind).
Anger issues.
Power increases with anger.
Goofy Personalities similar to Goku.
Has a Guide(though Babadi and Bibadi was more masters)
Both was influenced by Goku.
Their clothing is similar.
Both are full of Gags.

Only difference is Boo was fun. Birsu was boring and reminded me of Broly.

You know, for a second I really thought you were talking about Yamucha and Puar there until I realized the cat was the wrong color.

Also, I think OP is onto something, I wouldn't mind one more Broly appearance if only for nostalgia's sake.

I respect opinions. I just think that he's boring and a waste of a movie character. I also hate Battle of Gods with a strong passion.

Way better than the POS known as the "Super 17 Saga" if you ask me...

@TheGmGoken: No, they don't fade like Videl's. And I don't think any character in BT3 except Hercule can be called crap. It's just that your play style do not match a certain character.
Broly ki attacks in Tenkaichi 3 do fade out like Videls. Press Triangle(Forgot the Wii and Gamecube button for it) and see how it fades out. Hold it and see how slow it goes and then fade out.
I'm pretty sure they don't. I pretty much destroyed Hercule's last health bar from long range with SSJ Broly by spamming regular energy blasts at him. I'll post a video once I replicate that and record it.
SSJ Broly? I'm talking about LSSJ Broly. LSSJ Broly ki fades out when you use basic Ki attacks. Similar to Videls. In fact they're almost the same except for color. Who's Hercule? Don't You mean Mark Satan
I thought you were talking about Broly in general.

But still, Broly's energy blast has nothing in common with Videl's, they function just like regular blasts. I'll upload the video in Veoh(I hate Youtube with a passion). I'll send the link to you once it's there. Never mind, the ones of LSSJ Broly do fade after reaching like half a large map...

The problem is that it's Vegeta doing it, the guy who is probably weaker than everyone in the Buu Saga. If it was Gohan, you expect Gohan to do something like that, he's got his whole hidden power things and if it didn't work, then Beers is cool.

The fact that Vegeta, Goku's towel boy, was the one who tanked Beer's punch and sent him flying is the problem

This isn't really a problem with Beers, more a problem with the movie's writing in general

Vegeta getting a random boost was the only thing i didn't like about the movie. A character with no story of getting stronger when mad suddenly starts knocking around a villain that even Gohan couldn't touch. I can't think of other reason to put that in the movie besides making people who like Vegeta happy.

Beerus is, for me, a diametrically better character than Broly. Broly was as unremarkable as the other movie villains and had even less of a personality. I don't hate him, but i don't really care for him either. His movies were just brainless fun, and they had plots just as generic as most of the other movies. Battle Of Gods tried to do something different about the mithology of Dragon Ball, it tried to add something different, and didn't use the old "villain appears, beats up everyone, then beats up Goku, then Goku gets back up uses a random finishing move". I like the other movies, specially the ones set around the Boo arc, but they are just to formulaic. BoG doesn't break any boundaires in creativity, but at least it tried to be different.

In the end it boils down to opinion. Plenty of people hated BoG, plenty of people liked it. The same way that there's a lot of people that liked Broly and a lot of people that dislike him.

Coola survived being blasted into the Sun.
Broli should just come back and destroy the entire universe.
Coola survived being blasted into the Sun.BARELY.
He would of died if it wasn't for the gete star.
You realise that Broly is far above the likes of Cooler though right?
And Broly did survive a planetary explosion while been pix he's badly in the gut.

Okay, here how the new broly ssj3 movie works out. first, an evil villian can wish Broly back with the dragon balls, and with awesome power. broly comes back, and his main target is Kakarot, and Kakarot's sons. while goku is training with Uub, or gone for seven years, Broly destroys Goku's family, and takes over part of the world. Future trunks soon hears the news, and he comes back to fight Broly by himself. he does a great job until Broly smashes him into a few buildings and drowns him in water as though he thought. when Goku comes back, everyone he loves is dead ,so he transforms to a new form and fights broly. And Trunks fights alongside since he recovered from unconsiousness. Goku and trunks fuse, and they form Grunks. they defeat Broly and wish everyone back.

THE END
